The Spanish Grand Prix is one of the oldest Formula 1 races. The first Grand Prix in the southern European country was held in 1913. Since 1991, racing has taken place at Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló, 20 kilometers from the center of Barcelona. The circuit is known for the good view from all stands. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya information

This season you will see Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the F1 program again. The circuit in Montmelo has for years been the place where drivers, teams and fans impatiently look forward to. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has many bends and few straights, it is also a circuit where Mercedes have been extremely successful in recent years! There are 66 laps where the drivers cover 4.655 km per lap. The circuit has 2 DRS zones where the drivers can power up!

What is the circuit like?

Besides the circuit of yhe Spanish Grand Prix, the circuit is also known as a good test circuit for formula 1 cars. Before the Formula 1 season starts, the teams come to Barcelona to test their new cars. In short: every driver knows this circuit like the back of their hand.

- How do I get to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya?
  
  You can easily get to the racetrack in Spain by public transport. Take the train from the train stations: Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia or Clot in Barcelona city centre. Then get off at Montmelo station. This is the closest stop to the F1 race track.
- When will I receive my Barcelona F1 Tickets?
  
  All Barcelona F1 Tickets will be sent as e-tickets. You will receive these in your mailbox approximately one week before the event. Print out your e-ticket or download them and scan from your mobile at the entrance of the circuit!
