Losail International Circuit

On the outskirts of Doha, the capital of Qatar, you will find the Losail International Circuit. Built in 2004 and hosting a Formula 1 race for the first time in 2021. After a one-year absence, the Qatar Grand Prix is back on the F1 calendar. Like the Middle East GPs of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the Qatar Grand Prix will also be held at night.

What is the circuit like?

Raging fast and flowing corners. That’s Losail International Circuit in a nutshell. With 16 corners in 5.38 km, there are a relatively large number of turns in the circuit, but connoisseurs know that in the Qatar Grand Prix, most corners can be taken at very high speed. In 2021, Max Verstappen demonstrated this by moving up from position 6 to position 2 in no time.

Around the track

The Fanzone at Lusail Circuit is located behind the main grandstand and close to the circuit’s main entrance and car park. It will be home to static and interactive F1 displays, merchandise, food and drink stalls. No alcohol will be served in the Fanzone or other public areas of the circuit during the Qatar Grand Prix 2024, with the exception of the hospitality suites (Paddock Club, Premiere Hospitality, Club 16 and the Lusail Lounge.) The Fanzone at Lusail Circuit is open to all ticket holders.

As with other races in the Middle East, concerts are expected to be held in the Fanzone behind the main grandstand every evening during the Qatar Grand Prix in 2024. However, no artists have yet been confirmed to play at Lusail Circuit this year. Should they be announced, this is the place to find out who will be performing.
