      Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos, is a 4.309 km long track with 1 DRS zone. Drivers race 71 laps on the circuit, which is located in a district of São Paulo. In 2020, Formula 1 extended the contract of Interlagos as the Brazilian Grand Prix until 2025 and therefore this sensational packed race is back on the 2024 racing schedule. Last season this race was one to remember as Red Bull protested against Mercedes’ illegal rear wing, which prompted the FIA to introduce a new standard check on the cars. It’s a dog eat dog world when the F1 title is involved!

      What is the circuit like?

      • How do I get to Autódromo José Carlos Pace?

        If you don’t want to get stuck in the city’s terrible traffic jams, then public transport is the way to go, especially the metro. Buy yourself a Bilhete Único smartcard which is used for paying bus, metro and train fares. Taking the metro is undoubtedly the safest and cheapest option for getting to and from the track. Armed with your Bilhete Único, you can take the metro from virtually anywhere in the city to the Autodromo metro station in Interlagos, which is just 600 meters from the circuit’s entrance. The Autodromo metro stop is near the southern terminus of the light green Line 9 (Esmeralda).

      • When will I receive my tickets?

        All tickets will be sent as e-tickets. You will receive these in your mailbox approximately one week before the event. Print out your e-ticket or download them and scan from your mobile at the entrance of the circuit!
