Yas Marina Circuit information

The Yas Marina Circuit is a new and only circuit in Abu Dhabi. The circuit was also designed by Hermann Tilke and is located on Yas Island, which is about half an hour’s drive from the city of Abu Dhabi. F1 drivers will race 55 laps of the 5.554 km long track, with 2 DRS zones. We look forward to 2024 where Yas Marina Circuit is back on the F1 schedule.

What is the circuit like?

The Yas Marina Circuit is called the Arabian Monaco and has recently undergone three changes to create more overtaking opportunities, wheel-to-wheel action, and an overall faster track. A track with unprecedented thrills!

- How do I get to Yas Marina Circuit?
  
  Taxis are cheap and plentiful in Abu Dhabi and buses are also available for those on a tighter budget. The A1 bus runs to and from the city every 30-45 minutes, all day and all night, for a bargain 4 Dirhams (€0.80), It departs from outside Terminal 3. The Etihad Express – a complimentary shuttle service for Etihad passengers travelling on to Dubai – uses the same bus stop as the public bus.
  
  Several hotels operate their own complimentary shuttle service for guests visiting the Grand Prix. Parking can be pre-booked for Yas Island Marina, but permits are limited (one per three ticket holders) to encourage car sharing and limit congestion.
- When will I receive my tickets?
  
  All tickets will be sent as e-tickets. You will receive these in your mailbox approximately one week before the event. Print out your e-ticket or download them and scan from your mobile at the entrance of the circuit!

  Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi starts on 6 December 2024 with the first free practice session. The final race will take place on December 8.
